Do a quick soak. Cook the beans till the water starts to boil. Then turn off and let it set for about one hour. Then cook. I have done it and it works.

u can opt for canned beans if unavailable u can soak the beans for 1-2 hrs. more if u have the time and then pressure cook with a 2 pinches of soda bi carb. let the beans cook for a little extra time than u usually do. soda bi carb will make the beans soft and edible.

You don't have to soak beans overnight. It just takes a little longer for them to cook if you don't soak them.

I learnt through the culinary institute that soaking doesn't do much for beans except shorten cooking time very minimally therefore, all you have to do is cook them a little longer, ever since I learnt this I haven't soaked beans since!

just soak for any time length that u have. but this only works if ur method of cooking requires boiling. Just boil the beans for double the time.

for go the bean dinner tonight and soak them over night ... it is recommended to soak so soak... it helps in the cooking but also taste........

You can put them a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil, simmer for one hour. After cooling some, drain the water and cook as you normally would.

put a teaspoon of baking soda in water add beans.it quickens them to swell quite quickly.rinse then boil in clean water.i do this with chick peas when i make the soup for a cocous dish,from mikhal in israel.
