Makes an off center hit go more off center when you hit the ball on the heel of the club it goes left, the gear effect spins the ball so it curves back to the fairway

it is used to help u curve the ball back toward the center when you hit the ball on the heel of the club or the toe of the club. no one hits it in the center all the time. If you are offline from the center of the face, then 250 yards down the fairway u might be 40 yards to the left or right. the gear effect is to lessen the amount u are offline.

The gear effect is caused by not hitting in the center of the club. It means if you hit the ball more to the right of center the ball will go left (gears go in opposite directions).
