I found this website http://www.thehairstyler.com which allows visitors to find hairstyle ideas using virtual pictures. Are there any other sites like this, where I can upload my own picture instead? Thanks

p.s. most people would probably understand the purpose of a virtual hairstyle. However, for those who don't, it's the same as going into the hair salon for a consultation. It allows you to see how a specific hairstyle MIGHT look on you. Of course it's not perfect, but it helps with the visual. Similar to virtual window treatment, carpeting, ect. You're able to see how the curtains and carpet will look before buying them.

There's a few actually. I use http://www.matrix.com/find_your_hair_style/ or http://clairol.com/security/login.jsp?dest=/try-it-on-studio/process_tios.jsp®loc=tios

Although virtual hairstyles aren't that great because it's just a hairstyle, it's not fit to the shape of your head or hairline so you can't really be sure if it looks good on you or not.

Why on earth would you want a virtual hairstyle?
