My FAVORITE mixer is called "Hot Sex" it's very similar to a mud slide but with a ginger kick to it...PLEASE do not suggest I use Ginger ALE!

There is a product named Canton Ginger Liqueur. You should be able to find it in fine liquor stores depending on the area where you live.

Jacquin's brand of liquor makes a good ginger brandy that is pretty easy to find, where I live it's avaliable at the Wine and Spirits store

I can find ginger flavored vodka and ginger wine and of course ginger beer.
Why not get a garlic press and squeeze fresh ginger slices for the juice to flavor your own vodka with simple syrup (water and sugar heated and mixed thoroughly).
That way you get better quality and save money at the same time.
Flavored vodka is a great way to add citrus, fruits, herbs and flavors like vanilla, coffee, cocoa and rootbeer.
Just heat the water, sugar and flavor then add to vodka.
I personally like orange lemon and lime peels marinated in vodka for 3-7 days then pressed and bottled.
