Yes, see an arthritis SPECIALIST. You may have ankalyosing spondylitis or another spine disease. But see a specialist in arthritis for an opinion.

Yes, along with the pain, it often causes instability and balance, i fracture my lumbar twice and have disc degeneration and arthritis, i have fallen twice both times due to weakness in right leg, all the problems combine together to cause problems, i have found that stretching is the best therapy for me. good luck

DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!! I have severe scoliosis and degenarative arthiritis and i can barely walk ........it suxs...i had 2 major back operations last yr. and that made me lose 2 inches and so now i'm all off whack and now they tell me i have to have a total hip replacement and probably knee surgery..........get to a spine specialist........i had one of the best if you want to email to get his name ..............i live in Texas though.........good luck!!!!

PS. My spine dr. told me from the get go that he couldn't fix me 100% but he could fix me 80% and i think he still did pretty good considering i could not even stand straight up, now i can but it's the knee that is giving me the most pain right now.......
