Mexican-Style Sloppy Joes:
Make this "taco on a bun" as zesty as you want, depending on the salsa's kick.
2 cans kidney beans
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, optional
6 French rolls, cut in half lengthwise
1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce (preferably green leaf or romaine)
3/4 cup salsa
6 tablespoons shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
1. Drain beans, reserving 1/4 cup of liquid in a small bowl, and rinse.
2. In a medium skillet, brown garlic and beef over moderate heat for approximately 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in chili powder, beans, liquid, and cumin (if desired); simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Hollow out the roll halves and toast lightly. Divide the shredded lettuce and the beef and bean mixture evenly among the bottom halves of the rolls; top each with 2 tablespoons of salsa and 1 tablespoon of cheddar cheese. Cover with top halves of rolls and serve.
Yield: 6 servings (serving size: 1 sandwich)

I like Manwich brand sloppy-joe sauce. It comes in a can at your grocery. Just follow the directions on the can. You will brown the drain groud beef the add the canned ingredient. Let simmer a few minutes, put on a hamburger bun and serve. Really easy and super yummy!
Enjoy

Brown the hamburger and drain any grease. (If you like onions you can add those too) Add a can of tomato soup, ketchup, a little mustard, black pepper and some chili powder. If it is not sweet enough for you- you can add a little brown sugar. Let it simmer for a bit and there you go!
