What can I use at home to remove nits? I got all the lice out but when I pull the nits off the hair ir hurts my daughter. Is there anything I can use to make them slide out better?

i work in a chemist, firstly i would treat the hair with a nit lotion derbac m, full marks or hedrin are the top ones, and use the nit combs provided you could also put plenty of conditioner on the hair once treated as this makes is slippery so the nits cannot grip onto the hair

babyoil or cooking oil should do the trick & if your daughter is in school I have a trick to keep the pesky little critters away , wash her hair once a week in sea breeze dosent smell very good but it works & if her hair is long enough pull it up in a pony tail & spray it with hair spray .... we had to do that with our daughter until she was old enough to know that she shouldnt share everything ...

I would think maybe a very fine tooth comb might do it.
