Most of the men I seem to attract are anywhere between 12 and 6 years younger than myself! I have dated a few of them but it never seems to work out. I'm wondering if it's because I am so much older and they seem immature or I just haven't found the right one yet.

I am an older guy but I would date a much younger woman if one was to my liking. Age is but a number, I find that to be true. You just have to be with the right person period! Younger people are very fickle. They are still caught up in the social constriction of their day.
I see many young folks go through heartache with people their age because they have not discovered that life and love are ageless. I would date a lady much older than myself if it pleased me as well.

That's a hard one to answer...I've dated men that were up to 9 years older than me and men who were 10 years younger than myself. The sex has always proved better with the younger men, but the financial stability of the older men is also appealing (I hate having to pay someone elses bills) In any relationship as long as both participants are over the age of 18, the numbers in between ages shouldn't matter...the trick is to find someone that you are attracted to on every level...not just sex or financial maturity...

No particular number as long as he's over 18. If the reason why all of your relationships with younger men don't work out is because of their immaturity, then maybe it's time to look for one closer to you age. If not, then maybe you just haven't found the right one yet.

You know I have found that I am only attracted to men younger than me and I feel that is due to the fact that I don't feel my age. Being with men older than me seems just ........ well........old and I need someone that can keep up so to speak. I think that it is a preference and should be something that you decide on your own. No one can tell you who to be attracted to, but there are mature younger men out there just have to find them.

As long as there aren't any legal issues with the age difference, I think its totally up to you. I've dated anywhere from 13 years older to 3 years younger. I think you should date someone for their personality and how you feel about them. If their age bugs you then you don't belong with that person. You hafta be happy with your decisions or the relationship won't work. Good luck!

You just havent found the right mature guy yet. Age shouldnt matter (unless they are under 18), its the person. Someone could be alot younger then you but have the same or higher maturity level. Its all in the person. Not the age!

I guess it really depends on your maturity! I am 38 and my boy friend is 30. Things are great even our sex life is wonderful. I really don't know if I could date any one younger then that though! Men take a very long time to mature and to know what they want! Don't let age stop you just keep looking and find the right MAN!

age is based on maturity levels and going to be hard for an older woman to find a mature younger guy because women mature faster then men...and if your older you will have to teach this guy what to do and if you want it to work you gotta be able to keep up and if you have kids the guys age then the guys going to remind you of your kids and you will get aggravated i have seen it happen with my mom and aunt i lol because i tryed to tell em

As long as two people are over the age of 18, I don't think that age is of any importance. You just haven't found the right guy yet.
