I don't get why so many people blame them of being a cult. They do not worship another human being. The believe the BIble is the complete authority for the church. They do not believe in righteousness by works. They do not believe God will only save them. I don't get it. They get such a bad rap. It's sad.

They also believe Jesus to be the eternal God with no beginning and no end. He was never created.

They celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday rather than on Sunday. Actually, the Sabbath has never changed---it is still on Saturday. Mainstream Christianity celebrates the Sabbath on Sunday because that is the day of our Lord's resurrection. I personally find nothing wrong with the Adventist. They are a very fundamental group, and they tend to keep to themselves. I guess this is why they get bashed so much---they reject a lot of worldliness that mainstream Christianity accepts. Jesus loves them and they are saved.

Cults usually are not legally established.
One exception though is the Moonies.
The seventh day adventist are a recognized entity registered as an organization.

Christians believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. For people that don't understand this, it means that God was always in Jesus Christ all along and that Jesus Christ is part of God.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is like the soul, the body and the works in a single person.

I don't I have known several 7's and they are very sincere and love the Lord a lot. I have no theological argument with keeping the original Jewish sabbath. Though I prefer to keep sabbath on the day of the Resurrection.

Who said they're a cult? I've heard Jehovah's Witnesses referred to as a cult, but not SDAs.

i got kicked out of my house because i was living with a seventh day adventist, and i stuck a list of dead baby jokes on the fridge door.
needless to say he wasn't impressed.
