Well it would stop idiots from choking on them....but then,if they are THAT stupid, maybe it's not such a bad thing. Perhaps it's a form of Natural Selection! Maybe the world would be a worse place without them!

I would prefer not to have the cheap toy in with the cereal and pay less for them.
These toys have no educational value and just end up all over the house in bits. Far better to offer some books or similar after saving up x amount of cereal packets.
I don't know if the world would be a better place without the toy but it may be a better educated place with the books

Yes totally
Why include these worthless environmentally unfriendly toys in our cereal packets?
This manufacturers know exactly what they are doing when they include this sort of rubbish!
I've seen many unfortunate parents forced into this sort of purchase to save themselves from a scene in the supermarket from their moaning children!!
Personally I would never give in, we don't buy cereal for the toy inside which will always end up on the floor or the bin within 24 hrs and the cereal will follow a few days later!
Get rid of the plastic rubbish !

A better place, I don't know. But kids would eat any kind of cereals they like, and not the one with the best toy in the box. So the parents could buy cheaper cereals.

The main aspect of the breakfast cereals is by providing joy to children in the morning and also the excitement of finding that freebie. Children do appreciate this as there are so innocent.

That's part of the early morning rush tradition. Each day you try and get the prize out of the box. You shake it, try and dump some of the cereal out, pour it back in (making the box extra large and bulky and your mom gets all mad at you). Then you just decide to rush in every morning and consume as much cereal as possible till you get to the toy stuck in the middle. Joy and rapture and elation when you snatch it out only to find that it's some janky piece of plastic. But just wait till' mom gets groceries again. The saga continues.....

The world would be a better place without heavily sweetened, highly processed breakfast cereals. You might as well give your kids ice cream and candy for breakfast with a shot of diabetes for good measure.

Not for poor people. When I was growing up sometimes the only toy I would get aside from Christmas was from a cereal box.
