actually im looking for a digital camera which can store 1 hour recording on the cam it self. if it is not possible then can there be option to store it to the memory cand

There are digital cam recorders that save videos. They would do that. Try SONY. A digital still camera will not

Panasonic Lumix FZ-30 is able to record movie as much memory card you have ! in one file. Plus you can use the optical zoom during the recording + continuous autofocus. in 640x480 at 30fps.

Casio's exilim cameras with a 1 gb SD card can hold 1 hr of 640x480 30fps (VHS quality). toss a 2gb SD card and suddonly you get almost 2hrs

it all has to do with the size of the memory card and most don't come with a big enough one- get a cheaper camera and buy a large card

If you are going to be taking such large video, what you want is a Sony Handycam.
