Which One of these are you? Please note that each one of these is a worse-case scenario. As you draw closer to enlightenment the symptoms decrease, until once you reach Nirvana the state of mind, along with the suffering it produces, is ended. Thank you for your input.
Hell: A state born of anger, you lash out as your first respose to provocation. However, since there is in truth nothing to lash out at, instead of striking outward you strike inward. You are caught in a cycle of hatred. The other type of hell is the one in which you use cold pride to put up a wall between you and other people, isolating you in a state in which arrogance is the only thing which sustains you.
Preta: A state born of greed, you always want more of everything, you always hunger. However, once you have that which you hunger for, you forget about it abd begin seeking smething else. It is, in truth, not the material things you yearn for but rather the sense of want. It is the only thing that sustains you

Animal: A state born of ignorance, you cling stubbornly to one idea or belief. You are usually a placid, easy going person, but if anyone threatens the status quo you get extremely defensive. This state is normallycharacterized by a lack of a sense of humor, for jokes may insult your dogma. Permanence is your world, it is the only thing that sustains you.
Human: A state born of passion, you are constantly striving for new things, new discoveries. You savor competition, but this sense of rivalry consumes you. You do not do things for the benefit of mankind, you so them for the rise you get out of the sense of competing. This sense of rivalry is the only thing that sustains you.

Asura: A state born of fear, you enter society with a sense of paranoia. This paranoia becomes like radar and is a very efficient self-defense mechanism. You calculate everything out, asess every situation before you act. Cold and calculating, this fear cuts you of from ther people because it destroys your sense of trust. You immerse yourself in your fear, taking comfort in it and dubbing it intelligence, and it is the only thing that sustains you.
Deva: A state born of pride, you enter this world taking comfort in yourself. Perhaps the most dangerous state when it comes to enlightenment, the Deva state causes an attachment to the ego. You believe you are special, that you are above other people, and in your eyes you are elevated to a god-like status. Your sense of pride consumes you, you become obsessed with yourself, and pride is the only thing that sustains you.
