It sounds like you are interested in neo-pagan religions (neo- simply means new). There are many different neo-pagan religions. This site describe some of them:
http://www.religioustolerance.org/neo_paga.htm
This site has a list of many different neo-pagan paths and their beliefs and practices. There are resources listed for each one.

If you go to your local library and find a dictionary or encyclopedia of world religions, you should be able to look up other information on neo-pagan religions.

I know other has posted witchvox.com but this link will take you straight to the page that list some of the traditions and paths. With some you may be able to find books and sites for further study.
Realize pagan is a broad term that encompasses many faiths just like the word Christian. You can not know everything about pagans and the ideology just like you can not know everything about Christians and their ideology. Have fun searching. And if you have a specific question post it. I am sure us pagans will gladly answer to the best of our ability.

wizard810... has incorrectly defined the word, "pagan." It's original meaning was, "village dweller." As a result of the Inquisition, the word was propagandized to mean, "uneducated" and "Heathen." You might also be interested in the fact that the original meaning for the word, "Heathen" not only included those who were Jews and those who were not Christian, but also included those who followed Islam. In our modern times, "Islam" was dropped from the definition.
"Heathen" is one of those words that should be dropped from the language. I know many Heathens by it's definition. Many are highly educated albeit neither Christian, Jew or Muslim. It's a terrible word, in my humble opinion, that speaks to a time of bias and great prejudice. A time when it was perfectly acceptable to murder your neighbor if your neighbor did not believe as you do.
And pagans themselves? If you would truly like to learn more, look for an open Circle in your community. There you will find Pagans and Wiccans who will be happy to answer your questions.

The Witches' Voice has some great information on Pagan religions, provided by practitioners:

Also, Beliefnet is a good source of information on multiple world religions. The Belief-O-Matic test is not only interesting, but informative...just reading through the answers to each question thoroughly will lead you to a better understanding of how many types of beliefs there are out there:

Pagans probably predate Christains, maybe even formal Jewish religion. They worship various types of idols. They have various festivals. The have various rites.
I call modern people Pagans for lake of a better term. They worship TV, Ipod, Xboxes, Discos, Rolex Watches, fast cars they love to party and have festivals and have many rites of passage.
Both religionis were somewhat fun.
Ethically and morally that's another matter...

Do a Google or Yahoo search and many websites will come up. It is not such a simple question to ask, as there are many paths of Paganism.

The only way to do that, really, is to get to know Pagans in person, very closely.

Pagan is a Christian term that basically means anyone who is not Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Atheist.
So in order to know more about Pagans, you need to be more specific about what particular beliefs you want to know more about.

It's not like they are separate.
They are all around you.
Everywhere.
You work with them.
They are the world.
