we (me & my bf) find out that if we got married , we will have sick children because of Hereditary disease ,and me & my bf in love & we cant leave each other & we wont leave other ,we cant do that :( ,what shall we do?, our parents dont accept the idea of gettein married if there will be sick childeren :'( & we dont want 2 adopt & we want kids :'( & there is a chance of 75% of having sick children
how can we make them accept the fact that we love each other & we cant leave each other????

There's no reason you can't be together. However, for the sake of the children, have your tubes tied if you are the one carrying the genetic defect, or have him get a vasectomy if he is the one carrying the gene. If you don't want to adopt and you are not the carrier, then look into artificial insemination from a sperm donor. But please do consider adoption. There are a lot of children in the world who need homes, and you can love an adopted child every bit as much as one you birthed.
Just don't play Russian Roulette with children's lives when there is such a high chance of genetic problems if you have them together. It's not about what you want, it's about what's best for the children.

Why are U 2 against adopting.... If the chances of having a sick child is high... why would U want 2put a human being through that... don't allow the love that U 2 have 4each other cloud Ur judgment.... don't be selfish.... U can still love each other....

Wow...tuff problem....How old are you? I would not want to bring a child into the world that would be sick and miserable. What kind of sick? And if you know there is a possiblity....gosh, why do it? That would be cruel. And then all your parents would say "I told you so".....But if you love each other, then just adopt. Use someone else's sperm...or eggs....there are always alternatives. But you can't have your cake (each other) and eat it too( have healthy children) ......Good Luck.....

You need to explain it to them. You can't help who you love and who you wanna be with. But you also have to compromise. If your children have a 75% chance of being sick, you might not want to risk that, and go with adopting. You will feel awful if your kid is sick.

Just keep inmind that taking care of a sick child is double the responsibility. Why bring a child into this world with that high of percentage that something could be wrong. There are so many kids that need homes out there.

leaving each other is not a good option, especially if you really love each oter. but the thing is, you can't be too selfish to let your child, abnormal and sick, live a life you can foresee to be miserable because of his ilness. yes, you love each other and your future sick child, but you wouldn't wnat that baby to live a life full of judgment and abnormalities.
better yet, you should adopt a kid. dont be selfish.

Well I doubt you will be able to change their minds so all you can do is just go a head and get married regardless of how they feel. Although I wouldn't recommend that you bring children into the world that will have to suffer everyday of their lives.

tell them u can adopt a child and u will both be happy together... it's possible not to have any child if the latter is going to be sick... just tell them u r happy together and u will adopt a child

you do what your feel is right. If you and your husband will be emotional stable go right a head and have children. It is your decision anyway not your parents.
