the CT scan results will determine which way to go, unfortunately the wait is painful. Good luck

well it sound's like a tumor. But that doesn't mean panic. She will probably have surgery to remove it. Healing takes about a week. But it could be a cancerous tumor. I had that and had to have surgery ,chemo and radiation. That was horrible, but had 3 little girl's to get thru it for. Your mom is a lucky lady to have people who care. Good luck. I hope i helped. No matter what it is, just remember, it could be worse.

I had benign cysts in my uterus, (the mass was about the size of a large grapefruit) two years ago. I work out a lot and I thought it was simply my age which prevented me from getting a flat tummy. I was wrong. I had a hysterectomy and I feel great. After the swelling went down...flat tummy! The surgery was not bad at all and I was back to lifting weights in about six weeks. Back to work in one.

you will soon find out -
why do you think we know
prepare for surgery

if it is a benign mass the danger is little and if it is a tumor then her doctor is the only source for advice not Yahoo Answers
