My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Very slowly! It can be pretty dangerous for your body otherwise. You should aim to lose about 10-15 pounds a month. Eat really healthily (cut out ALL fast foods and sweet things) and exercise frequently (about 45 mins a day).

There is a really really good book that I can recommend as a starting point. It lays out a complete meal and exercise plan for each day over a period of 33 days. And it works! Tried and tested. It's called "The No Choice Diet", by Diane Harris. I'm not sure if it's available new anymore, but I know you can get it second hand at Amazon.

if you are wanting to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. Reduce your calorie intake to no more than 900 a day for about 2 weeks . And exercise 30 mins of cardio with sweatsuits on to help get a major sweat going on, then tone for another 30 7 days a week. and pilates is great for women. or weight traiining for guys. I lost 30 lbs in a month doing this. Then you typically can go back to your normal life style, of course limit to about 2000 calories a day anyways, and make sure you continue to exercise or else our metabolism will shoot way down and you will gain on more than you lost. But this works i swear by it, its what celebrities do b4 a big event and i did it and it works wonders. Good luck!
Also NO SODA!!! NO JUICE!!! just water water water and green tea with your breakfast!! You will feel with all the water weight like nothing is going on for awhile but that water litteraly washes the fats and toxics out of your body thats why it is important to get a heavy sweat going on during exercise. and keep the sweat running for at least 20 minutes.

Slimming World with Body Magic (the exercise reward scheme) is fantastic - have lost stones of weight with them and it is still going - never feel hungry either , now that is what I can magic!

The other excellent thing about it, is that you can eat out and go on holiday and have no problems fitting into the very few rules that it gives you... also you find that other people want to support you. It is suitable for male and female participants. I have been a member for 10 months and have never regretted it.

All the very best.

First and foremost get checked out by your Doctor. Most people don't but it's really important. He / she will be able to then help you devise the best plan for you - which is usually calorie controlled, low fat with some regular excercise. And be realistic - weight loss is quick at first cos you lose alot of water but then plateau's out to approx 2 - 3 pound a week - so don't expect to lose it all in a couple of months.

The very best of luck - it aint easy but its worth it! Have targets to reach at which point you reward yourslef with non foods - perhaps a shopping trip or day out - whatever will make you feel better.

The best thing that has worked for me that I started about ten years ago is,avoid eating anything at all in the final four hours before you go to bed. Allow your food time to digest properly. It has worked for me. Plus, drinking lots of water frequently. And if you don't like exercise but you can handle going for a walk for even just 30 minutes a day, that also helps very well.

All the best to you!

Get into a healthy routine that you don't have to think about. Exercise every day, something you enjoy, and eat loads of fruit and veg. Eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full. Be patient, it will work, but this is the healthy way.

Weight lose is simple mathematics. You have to burn more calories then you take in everyday. (Unless there is a medical problem effecting weight lose). Eat healthy, exercise regularly. Get in as much cardio at first as you can. Then start to weight train to build muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn! Good luck to you!

Try the weight watchers point system diet,. it gives you the freedom to eat whatever you want as long as you count for it, it allows you you lose alot of weight quickly, and you can also get the support of the meetings if that helps you, though I chose to get all the needed materials and do it myself from home. Also try to increase your exercise routine and drink more water. Also try to decrease your sodium intake. Too much sodium can cause you to retain water which equals extra pounds.
