He is 50 and I am 45. We have been together for 1 1/2 years. He was my first love after a 16 year marriage that ended in divorce. What happened was he got busy, and I had not seen him for 2 weeks. Other men have been asking me out. I mentioned this to him and he said go for it. It hurt me. I asked him if he wanted me to date other men, he said I could, but not to peddle my p****y on the corner. I was so hurt-I would not want him to go out with other women. Now I call and he won't answer, not even my voicemails. My heart is broken and I feel like sometimes I want to go to sleep and not wake up .

You can't take back your mistake, just like you can't "un-ring" a bell. Yes, you should have said you missed him rather then point out that you could find someone else, but that's behind you. He reacted badly to it, and he can't take that back either. Don't trust his reaction as his real thoughts and wants.

It sounds like you may have to go see him to get a hold of him. Tell him you miss him and have no intention or want to see anyone else. Start from there. It will give him the chance to undo his harsh remarks. If not undo, at least put them behind like they were never said.

Good Luck

Unfortunately your first sign was the be was too busy to see you. It doesn't surprise me that he doesn't mind if you date other men. When a man is too busy to see you it means he's just not that into you. Dont take it personal although I know its hard not to. He wants something different than you do. Perhaps its time to move on and find someone new.

Maybe you should see a therapist. Those definately don't appear to be the thoughts of a mentally healthy 45 year old (man OR woman).

By reading your story it seems like you were trying to make him jealous by telling him that other guys are asking you out. WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU TELL HIM THAT. I would be pissed to if my girlfriend told me that. If I were you I was stop trying to call him and let time work it's way thru your problem. It will be only a matter of time before he starts to call you again
