I agree that wars start because men are greed and want control of it all. They are cry babies and want it their way. Their way is the right way and the only way. They are ignorant people, selfish and pitiful. Sadly, these leader delcare war, force other people to fight the war for them and innocent people are murdered.
History does show that majority of the wars have started over the subject of religions. Religion is a huge part of life (for believers) and many people think their religion is the true religion and instead of merely respecting other and live and let live, they decide to force others to convert and murder the non-converters. What I don't understand is that when you look at the main premise of all world religions, all religions/God/gods say to love God/god, love yourself and love others. I don't see much love in the world because people aren't living out what their religion teaches. I think this is Satan's doing. He tempts us with pride, greed, power and makes it look good and right and as soon as someone starts to think they know more than God does Satan dives in the stirs the pot. It's all free choice, free will. With that responsibility of free will comes consequences. We now are suffering the consequences from our ancestors and our decendents will suffer the consequences of our own actions.
If there was no such think as faith, religions, believes, we would still know what is right and wrong. But people think differently and we would argue about what is right and wrong and we would still want others to think like us. And there would still be arguments, fights, murderers, wars over our own personal thoughts and opinions. So I don't see how it would be any different without religion.

You are mixing analogies. Political and Religious. Besides the fact that you have your historical facts incorrect, Germany was a Christian nation under Hitler. Carl Marx's belief that religion was the opiate of the masses was not the fundamental underpinning of the political construct known a Communism. And if you take some time to actually READ his writing, you will discover that his ideas are, without question, fundamentally Christian in nature.
Truly, would not a real Christian nation be more concerned with the Greater Good than rampant consumerism and earth raping capitalism? The whole idea of "sharing the wealth," making certain that no one goes hungry, full employment, access to health care for everyone, and free education would, in my humble opinion, be something that Jesus would support.
Something to think about, right?

Nazi Germany was predominantly Christian, as Hitler himself professed Catholocism.
The Soviet Union, though officially atheistic still had 1/3rd of it's population believing in one religion or another. Things may have been much different given the total absence of religion there.
Koreans are traditionally pragmatic and eclectic in their religious commitments. Their religious outlook is not conditioned by a single, exclusive faith but by a combination of indigenous beliefs and creeds, such as Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism. Belief in a world inhabited by spirits is probably the oldest Korean religion.
Clearly there is quite a bit of religion going on in the Koreas.....
Please check your facts and do some research before making your claims.

Nazi Germany was not atheist. I love how Christians try to pretend it is. It reminds me of Lady Macbeth frantically washing her hands and saying 'Out damned spot!'
As for North Korea and the Soviet Union, a cult of personality is still a cult.

The problems in those examples is not lack of religion, but totalitarian regimes and fascism. By the way, Nazi Germany was not atheistic, Hitler was a Christian.

I accept as true with the two your statements one million and a pair of, yet bear in strategies that there could additionally be a assertion 3: " all the undesirable issues approximately faith may well be achieved with out faith." the two Stalin and Mao proved this on a extensive scale and on many events, and that's in simple terms interior the twentieth century. on a similar time as faith isn't mandatory for stable issues to ensue, the absence of religion with the aid of itself is not any assure of a greater effective worldwide.

I've said before that religion did serve a good purpose at certain points in time. I feel that religion is no longer needed though in today's society, and/or if you are being lead by a benevolent leader that cares about it's people.
It is not so much about religion playing into it, just the character of the person.
Would you say that if I became a leader of a country, that I would exterminate millions of people?
