I'm not a woman, But the guy that looks away, is being polite. By not starring at you.

The guy that looks away from see this beautiful woman is because he's always getting shot down everytime he approaches a woman. It tends to hurt after a while. If SHE'S interested,then SHE can make the first move.

It largely revolves around society, the woman's upbringing and social perspective.
A self interested modest person would think of attributes pertaining to themselves, such as "I'm not as hot as I think" or "I'm not good enough."
A self interested immodest person would think of attributes pertaining to others,"Who's he to look away ? Maybe this person has an inferiority complex."
A contemplative person would think, "He's married or shy".
A passing interest and curious person would, as already mentioned,"That guy just busted me checking him out"
A dispassionate or busy person taking 5 would likely think ,"Get grocery, pay bills, buy that prada or cheap jeans from ...". It just happens that the gaze was in that direction and think nothing more of it.

LoL well if he's HOT and doesnt stare at me im usually thinking im not looking as hot as i thought i did when i looked into the mirror this morning....if he's average looking im thinking to myself he's probably checking me out but to shy to approach me

every women has different interpretations about that look. it's really hard to say what it is exactly.. well if you know the guy, you can just joke him whyd he looked away at you..
