I'm mid 20s and occasionally will take the same bus to work with this guy since last yr. In recent months as I'm not dating anyone, I started noticing him and really would like to know him! Trouble is I get on the bus first and I alight before him. Gurus out there, is there any way to get to know him in my situation? Of cos with zero background, its merely superficial attraction but be it set in anywhere else, its first impression that counts b4 getting to know the person rite? I have no qualms about being friendly 1st as a gal but on the bus?!...somebody pls advise! Certainly think it'll be a pity if soon he changes job and stops taking that same bus in the morning.. Personally feel its weird as I have experiences with friendly guys on the bus.. but who knows if there's a clever way out, why not try it than to regret later hor.. and what do the guys think? THANKS!

Extras after reading some feedback:
a) its doubly hard since there could be many others on the bus noticing what I'm up to (if i smile or speak to him), and I'll be so embarrassed as i'll be seeing much less the same faces every day.
b) I thought I saw him looking over a couple of times when I'm seated and he's standing, also once when I walked passed him when alighting..
Then after I told myself to at least eye contact to ascertain he's looking or make known that I'm looking his way if I can't bring myself to smile yet, but my eyes danced around cowardly one chance last week. 2 occasions the seat besides me just got empty and he's on his way (preying on the seats) and last sec someone sat on it and he has to sit in front of me..just wonder if there's a choice will he sits next to me? HAA
c) well, looks like there's no discreet way out?

A simple smile. Followed by a Hello. Never hurt anyone. If he acknowledges, then the natural follow on would be "I see you on this bus everyday"... etc etc

Well I am very old fashioned but I say if he is interested he will approach, but then we are in new age and he may think your out of his league, think this does he sit in the same spot all the time sit in the area he sits in, or a few min b4 u get off move to his ear reach and just say something like do u have the time if u notice he has a nice watch or if he dresses nice say something about his clothing, let him know u r fellin him a little, then wait and see what he does if nothing then maybe he is not interested.

Next time, sit next to the entrance, so when he comes on to the bus, make eye contact, smile, maybe even say hi. After a few times, try to start a conversation. If he is not interested, he'd sure to try to stay far away from you.

I used to see this girl on the bus and was attracted to her but never spoke to her because I wasn't sure she was into me. Then I never saw her on the bus anymore. Who knows what could have happened.

Just say, " Hi ! ", for starters and tell him, " I've always wanted to say that but, never had the courage to say, Hi ! . What is your name ? " .....now your off to the races !
