I asked a question and got great answers from both sides (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArpOrMZnXHGUkdfAubnedEbsy6IX?qid=20060921072918AAkGwsD
This however baffles me:
"You and ur demonic sect have already drawn ur conclusions and you and them are full of "BS" so go take a laxative." -Sela
That isn't very Christian of her is it? Why on Earth would she treat fellow human beings this way when Christians are taught to Love thy neighbor and spread the word of God? I find this appalling (as I would if any other religious / non religious person would say to me or anyone else.)

I can only imagine that in their silly beleif system, someone somewhere told then that God will forgive their sins and transgressions - so they dont really have to live by his commandments (Judge Not), because they are better than you and me because they beleive, so they will go to Heaven regardless.....
Pretty phucked up way at believing, huh?

Are you sure she claimed to be Christian? You, yourself stated that you got some good answers from both sides. This could be one bad apple. This could also be one of the numerous people playing in here, trying to get as many people as possible angry. Sometimes they claim to be of one faith, at other times another.
I also wish people would identify what they truly believe before posting. I've had people answer as if they know this, that and the other thing about a particular faith even though they themselves don't belong to it.
If we could all represent ourselves maturely, calmly, and without anger toward one another, this would be a much more useful forum. None of us are more intelligent than the others. None of us have less of a right to say what we feel, but sometimes people lose sight of this and say ignorant things (and I'm talking about both sides).

trust me most of the christians i have met on here would even kill other christians for not preaching and its not uncommon since there was a time when christianity called all other sects of there own religion evil and not true believers of christ. its there own idology to be that way and most of them have never read the bible or even studied the damn thing.
as a non christian i have read the bible and understand it fully it is a book of complete fiction not a word of it is true and is very unproveable in all sence of the wording.
if christians had it there way all us non christians would be killed and they would have supriem rule of the earth and all things on it which will never happen anyways. the bible god is also a hateful war god in my opinion and christians follow right into that status as being war like and hateful bigots

Some people are full of hate. It's a shame that she claims to be Christian, because it gives the rest of us a bad image. Real Christians are not like that.

Should we say she may have over reacted a bit?
As a Christian, it does get old, sometimes, trying to "maintain" while people attack our faith, so I can understand...but, I agree, her reaction does not speak well for Jesus.
Perhaps we ought to be more understanding of one another.

I see. You attack people's basic beliefs with nothing more then tired old rhetoric that we have heard many time before. Then you want them to come back and love you. Get a grip on reality Timmy, the only thing appalling is your lack of understanding people.

That's a typical Christian. You should see some of these emails. I don't think I've ever been told to go to hell that many times in one day. hehe

Given my "Allah & Jesus" post, I couldn't agree with you more!
I didn't know that when you became a Christian you had to have a layer of skin removed but unfortunately that does seem to be the case!

just because someone says their Christian doesn't mean they follow it in all aspects of their life. just like most other groups of people there are extremists on both sides. but yeah..being a Christian myself, that answer of hers wasn't very Christian...or nice.
