Our part of the US is in the season of Ragweed. We take an Antihistamine, then within a few minutes the itching stops, therefore the redness goes away, because you are not scratching and rubbing your eyes

I had really bad itchy red eyes one summer. The doctor told me to hold a hot wash cloth over my eyes for ten minutes each day. He also gave me some gross vaseline like stuff to put in them. But they make eye drops for itchy eyes that you can get OTC.

Get over the counter treatments for red, itchy eyes. Clear Eyes will do it. Your local grocery store or pharmacy will have an "eye care" section. Same place where they sell saline solutions for contact lenses.

This could possibly be conjunctivitis. Look it up on line. If the symptoms are like yours, see your regular doctor right away. Conjunctivitis is VERY contagious. Be careful of what you touch, and whom, and don't let anyone get near your eyes unless they are a professional. Wash your hands frequently!

It could be Pink Eye which is very contagious or it could be caused by an alergy to eye make up or another type of alergy. Either way you should see a dr. about it.

Go to a doctor. Don't put anything in your eyes until you know what it is. It can do more harm than good and you only have one pair of eyes!

Please turn off the computer for awhile!
Then, schedule an appointment with an opthamologist who can treat those dry, tired computer eyes with a motrin based ointment!
