It's not the best that's for sure.. not only is the ink slightly toxic (don't worry, one dose at that small of a level shouldn't even make you sick) but newspaper isn't made to break down in water as quickly as toilet paper.. so you might stop up your toilet.... so make sure it hits the trash and not the flush.. same goes for paper towels

In an emergency newspaper is as good a substitute as any, but be prepared for print coming off on your skin...yukkk....leaves...at a push but stay away from grass ..it cuts the fingers so God help your wobbly bits...

Yep. Crumple it up and straighten it back out several times to make it softer and more absorbent.

no, the ink is toxic. go with a rag and then throw it in the garbage.
