Keep it short if it makes you happy!! People are so caught up in the idea that girls HAVE to have long hair to make you feminine, it drives me mad! The thing is, a lot of girls hide behind long hair, (not everyone obviously) as kind of a security blanket. I had long hair up until about 2 years ago and I am so happy with my hair now! It's above my shoulders, a short, choppy bob and everyone comments on how they wish they were brave enough to get theirs cut. A lot of times having your hair short makes your face more visible, so pretty girls carry it off great, in a completely non- lesbian way! It's just daft stereotypes of society that suggest your gay if you have short hair. Don't listen, I'm sure you look wonderful and all that matters is how you feel!

Obviously do what makes you happy, who cares about what others think. Just for the record, I don't think girls with short hair are lesbians. Perhaps if you wore mens clothes, had short hair, wore no makeup and acted masculine I may think that but that doesn't necessarily mean you are either. I have seen many lesbians nowadays that have long hair and dress just like other women, you just never know. Stay true to yourself and don't let others determine your self being and how you like to dress and have your hair.

People assume that ur a lesbian becuz unfortunately in our society we are judged by what we think we know of a certain group of ppl or culture. If you like to wear your hair short, I say keep it short and simple, don't grow out your hair just becuz u have a few uneducated ppl out there that are obviously either jealous of how cute it is OR they are just being plain ignorant! By the way, who cares if they think you are a lesbian!

Do what makes you happy and keep the short hair. If it makes you feel good, who cares what others think? In our society, short hair is reserved for males, so people may think that you are trying to be more masculine, which is very much confused with lesbianism. Short hair is sexy. Keep it, girl.

You should do what you want. It's your hair! People could say that men with long hair are gay, but they don't. I'm guessing that a person who has something against short hair on women said that women with short hair are lesbian. My mother has short hair, and she's not lesbian or bi. I know lots of really nice women that I look up to, and they have short hair. Do what you want. It's your hair!

Just because your hair is short, that doesn't mean you are a lesbian. A lot of ladies I know have their hair short, and they are not lesbians, and most of them are married, and have children. I would not pay any attention to anyone, who assumes you are a lesbian, becuase your hair is short.

People assume ALOT these days. However, when I was in high school, back in the 70's, I was accused of being lesbien cause my hair was short. So I guess some things never change. But you do what makes you feel most comfortable with yourself. Those people will one day go their own ways...you live with you everyday of your life...you might as well do what makes you feel good about you.

If you like it short then you should keep it that way. People probably label girls with short hair lesbians as some lesbains cut their hair short to look more masculine.

Do what makes you happy! But you could grow it out just to see if you like it. I had a lot of fun with short hair and no one thought i was gay. Hmmmm? But I let it grow out for a change. Just be true to yourself!

ROFL I have short hair and people don't think I'm gay, lol. I've had it short for over 2 years now, and I'm letting it grow out at this very moment.
