I also need guys opinions on this. This guy that I've been seeing just recently had to move back home for certain reasons (family) There is something I need to be honest with him about, which may make our relationship closer. Anyway, since he's now long distance, about 4 hrs, I can't exactly see him whenever I want. But how can I get his full attention, and what's the best way to reveal something of yourself from a guy's standard? What would he be more comfortable with? By phone I'm thinking it might be hard for me to get everything out, by email would be better, but I'm not sure what guys think about letters. I want him to feel comfortable & to get his full attention. IF anything I can try to meet him in person, but I don't want to "scare" him. So what's the best option from a guy's point of view?

If by person, and he's long distance how do I set it up?
FYI: It's about taking the relationship to the next level, being honest with him.

Best is in person, but since that doesn't sound easy to do right now, I say over the phone. Email and IM's are never a good way to talk with someone. Honesty is SO important in any relationship/friendship

Well, I think it would be helpful to know what it is you need to share with him in order to determine the answer to this question. Are you recently separated, pregnant, or ready to take the relationship to the next level? If so, tell him face to face. If it is not something that major, then an email would be fine. Just be sure that you are open and honest, regardless of which manner of communication you choose.

u want him feel comfortable!!!! wow, really he is lucky guy!!! any way, the answer is, you are the only person knows him and knows what he would accept, beside, your tender words here about what you want to do tells me he will be happy if you stayed with phone, emails, sms, and visit him in weekends so often..( i would love my girl to do so as we are also having this 4 hours flight between us) good luck

I'm not a guy, but know them the way I do, I would say that your best bet is to write it in an e-mail. That way, if he isn't paying attention to you, he can always go back and read it again later. But, it's up to you!

first of all email him with a time or place where you are going to call him or see him. now mind give him some time as what you writer will have to sink in and he will have a think about it, then when you call most of all the nevers have gone away, open for you to open your heart to him. well that what i would want

In person is best, phone is OK, email is not.
And don't say you need to talk to him without being ready to do it right then and there - suspense and him wondering isn't good either.
Good luck.

If it's as profound as you're implying, it's best to look him in the eye and tell him.
