"The fossil offers clues about how the species blurred the line between ape and human. From the waist down, the skeleton looks like a human's. But her upper body had many apelike features: a small brain, a nose flat like a chimpanzee's and a face long and projecting. Her finger bones were curved and almost as long as a chimp's.
"Clearly, we have a species in transition," said Lucy's discoverer, Donald Johanson, director of the Institute of Human Origins at Arizona State University. The species "sits at a critical point of human evolution."

Satan and his demons have temporary control over the earth and his power though limited is very strong. Satan is able to make people believe that the dead can talk when the Bible says the dead know nothing and feel nothing (Psalms 146:4) If he can do that, then he can manuever things so that people will not trust in God or the fact that Adam and Eve were the first humans created. Evolutionists and scientists are limited also and being imperfect humans, why should we trust them over the God of all creation? Can any imperfect human offer us hope for the future, a future free of all sickness and death? Well, God does give us hope and the promise that sickness and death will soon be no more.

There have been several hoaxes regarding primate/human skulls, so I can understand why Christians don't start converting in droves when things like this are found. No matter what is found in the ground though, and no matter how big it's skull is, Christians will always say that it's either purely ape or purely human. Even if the fossils don't look quite human, they'll just say that it was a midget or a human with rickets or some other defect. There are always ways for them to get around accepting the truth.

Why should you believe the Chicago Tribune, or the scientist that supposedly makes this claim? Or the science on which it is based, or the accuracy of radiologic dating? Sounds like you are putting FAITH in them to be honest, since you cannot independently verify this yourself.
There are many different intepretations of the Bible. You can make your own interpretation. If you seek earnestly, you can begin to see what the Bible is talking about. Don't think that you have to follow a certain denominations angle. Most criticisms of the Bible are related to a failure to meditate and comprehend. Some of us cannot accept the tripe that others claim, and we go in our own direction. But don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

For those who say carbon dating doesn't work - where in the articles did it say is was carbon dated? Carbon dating only works for things 40,000 years old or less. They use totally different methods to date fossils. That argument doen't work here.

They don't want to believe evolution because it would be far too much for them to grasp. A sky daddy is much simpler.

The Bible says God created man out of clay. It didn't say if that was from regular clay or clay monkeys. The Bible wins again!!!
