The Biblical criteria for false prophets are mentioned in several passages in the Bible - most are listed below.
1. Wolves in sheep’s clothing. (Jesus’ flock)
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
King James Bible, Matthew 7:15
2. Will bear bad fruit
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
King James Bible, Matthew 7:16-20
Note: I assume that the "bad fruit" is the opposite of the good fruit mentioned below...
“Fruits” of the spirit (good fruit)…
{5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 5:23 Meekness, temperance
King James Bible, Galatians 5:22}
3. Already in the world during the writing of 2 Peter (about 150 AD)
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”
King James Bible, 2 Peter 2:1
4. Will come at the end of the age and will deceive many, even the elect, with great signs and wonders.
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
King James Bible, Matthew 24:11
“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
King James Bible, Matthew 24:23-24
5. Will bring heresies into Christianity.
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
King James Bible, 2 Peter 2:1-3
6. Will arise amongst the Christians
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”
King James Bible, 2 Peter 2:1
7. Will show greed and licentiousness
“And through covetousness (marked by extreme desire to acquire or possess) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
King James Bible, 2 Peter 2:3
By using these criteria it should be possible to get a sense of a good prophet from a bad one. Good luck and great question...

Do You Know What a False Prophet Looks Like?
Yes!
Will you know a true believer by their fruits
Yes they fall from them like apples from a tree
What are these fruits that Jesus is speaking of?
I just told you apples
How can you recognise a FALSE PROPHET?
When I meet someone that actually makes sense about the history of my religion or science of the world and I have to face up to the fact that my beliefs are wrong.

A false prophet: prophesy and what he or she says will not come to pass.He or she will look like a human being.
A true believer by their fruits will keep all 613 laws of the Creator as given in the Torah. Without faltering from it in any decision they make. These are also the fruits that the Savior Yahshua spoke of.

A false prophet is someone who preaches a message that contradicts the Bible. He/she preaches another Jesus other than the one presented in the New Testament. He/she make outrageous demands and is focused more on raising money for himself/herself than helping others. He/she demands that he/she be the focus of attention rather than insisting that Jesus be the focus. Christianity is all about Jesus, not about celebrities.

It's really pretty easy, all prophets are false. Anyone who claims to be a prophet is a fake.

A false prophet preaches heretic words, most of there prophesies are wrong, they begin a new religion on there own instead of saying they're gifts are from God...

I believe that the Holy Ghost is the answer. Ask God and he will answer. Logic, good ideas from men, and nice lifestyles is not the answer. Ask and you will receive.
