Islam itself is not Hypocritical. It teaches violence. Many practice it. The so called "peaceful muslims" are the hypocrites. They don't follow the religion they belong to.

that is upto the individual how they follow the religion? u can't question the original doctrine, 'coz nowhere in it, it promotes violence in normal circumstances. only the individuals are to be blamed if they commit some action on their own. No one blames Christianity for holocaust, we blame hitler only.
"Divide and Rule" is being applied on Muslims by agencies-at-work to create Shias and Sunnis. we don't kill each other.
we are to be tolerant when someone criticizes us, as long as they don't get insulting to Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) or ALLAH (GOD). infact we feel good abt criticism, 'coz we Muslims know Islam has the answers to all critcisms, and when someone criticizes, we feel that person is trying to learn, and we Not only answer him and clear his views, but also see it as an oppurtunity to invite him to The True Path i.e. Islam. Peace to All.

Religions of any kinds, christians,muslims..etc can never be hypocratic but the PEOPLE embracing religions are
a religion is simply ideology or sets of ideas which can be arbitrary which sometimes may lead to confusion due to misunderstanding as no one really knows the true facts
it's just another literature reading to some but the sad thing is many thought it was'nt and strongly believes word for word

Islam preaches peace, brotherhood and tolerance. All are correct.
Do not blame the actions of the people on the religion. We muslims do not blame Christianity for Bush's killings on War on Terror. Even though he claims to be doing it for god's sake (small letter because he follows not the real God).

muslims have the lowest crime records in the State. violence caused by people behaviour, unemployment and poor, feeling of stress, some people can't take pressure. religion has nothing to do with it.
shias and sunnis, that's only happening in Iraq, and God knows who is behind this killing between sunnies and Shias. no muslim will dare to destroy a mosque and burn its Quran.

yes the hypocrites do exist in any religion.
preach love each other molest children or commit adultery etc etc. do not judge others which you just did .that's all i think i said enough.
