are antisemitism and homophobia related? Do they both spring from hatred for one's fellow man? The Jewish scriptures justify killing gay men and throughout history Christians and Muslims have justified killing Jewish men? What is so wrong about peace, love, and understanding? Don't be hating...

Religion tends to promote bigotry. This goes for all religions.

Religions set themselves up as the source for information about what their pet deity likes and doesn't like. They usually also set themselves up as favorites of their deity. Therefore, people who believe anything else are wrong to various degrees and are blamed for any ill in the world.

Muslims think the Bible is corrupted and the Quran is the official word. Buddhists see the rest of the world as less enlightened. Mormons think of themselves as having special golden plates with instructions from god. Christians think the Jews are just unwilling to recognize their Messiah. The Jews think they are the chosen people. And the list goes on and on.

I didn't know Christians were antisemitic...as a Christian, I do not hate Jews, why should I?
I'm not Jewish, I am Christian, but that doesn't mean that I have to hate Jews, does it?
Nor have I ever killed any gay men...or women, for that matter. Why should I?
I'm not gay, I am straight, but that doesn't mean I have to hate gay people, does it?
There is not one thing wrong with peace, or love, or understanding. In fact, Jesus promoted all of those things...I think you would like Him, if you ever got to know Him....

I think most anti-semitism is held as a reaction to cultural bias, and not because of religion. I live in the south and we have about ZERO Jews. As a result, nobody really has an opinion about them. There might be the superficial "the Jews killed Jesus" from the occassional Christian, but that is in a vacuum of firsthand Jewish interaction.

Christians are spiritual Semites. So for Christians to be antisemitic would be hating Jesus.
Christians are not anti-homosexual either.
God loves gay people.

Christians just see homosexual genital acts as wrong.

Cute! LOL Maybe it's because people tend to hate the folks who are most like themselves. Most wars in history have been fought between neighbors. Look at the Middle East. Look at India & Pakistan. Look at Ireland. All of these loving folks like nothing better than an excuse to run amuck.

The problem with your question is that is in the fallacy of "begging the question." You’re using circular reasoning. This means that you’re assuming something that you have not yet proven and then making a point from that statement. You have shown NO proof to support your statement. It is merely your opinion, which is not valid.

Christians, by the very basis of their religion, have no respect for others beliefs. In fact, they think you will burn in hell for them.
