It's part of observing the Hindu faith.
Killing of animals is wrong.

No, all are not. mostly the hindus living in north of India are not but those living in south r mostly vegetarians!

No; I talked to a guy who was raised Hindu but he and his family still eat meat. They're kinda like those raised Catholic who are "Catholic in everything but name."
