I am a British Muslim and I would do anything to stop the killing of innocent people. But seriously, what can I do? Everyone I know, from all faiths and creeds is really nice. If I knew of an impending attack, for any motive, I would go straight to the cops.

Anyways, why do we pay our taxes, so MI5 can play tiddlywinks?

Before the last 50-70 years, it was the muslims who were rational and reasonable, not the christians. Extremist islam is a recent phenomenon

For the last 150 years, European nations have been invading and attacking islamic nations to steal their resources and control their land. That it took the muslims 100 years to get pissed off enough to act while it took christians two days after 9/11 says more about christians.

Until 100 years ago, it was the muslim countries that were the bastions of preserving and expanding knowledge. While christians spent 600 years murdering jews, from Martin Luther to the Nazis, the Turks gave the jews refuge. While christians lived in the pig filth of the dark ages, the muslims were doing science, and building libraries and fountains.

For the last 50-70 years the muslims haven't done anything worse than christians did in the previous thousand years, and the violence they perpetrate is no more brutal. The only difference is technology, weapons and the media telling the world about it.

Stop watching FUX News and read some books.

Most Muslims are peaceful. There are as many Muslim fanatics as there are fanatics in Judaism or Christianity: you are simply trying to paint all Muslims as extremists, which is no more reasonable than saying the Christians who bomb abortion clinics are representative of Christianity as a whole.

I am not a muslim myself but think that the majority are peaceful.

There are however a dangerous and fanatical minority who act in the name of islam that have been sensationalised within the media which has led to all muslims being tarred with the same brush.

It is up to both muslim and non-muslim communities to work together and flush out those who wish to do our society harm.

Yes, of course. Don't make the mistake of judging the faith by the extremists; just like the average faithful Christian doesn't agree with the Crusades or the Inquisition or gay-or woman-hating. I think its up to all of us to get rid of fanatics who are harmful to peace and to people.

We created the fanatics and we carry on doing so in Iraq,Afghanistan and the middle east in general by taking the side of one nation against another. So whether there is peaceful Muslims or not it makes no difference........

I believe there are, but these muslims are the silent ones among them. I believe that if only these people will start to stand up and start declaring jihad against the terrorists and radicals among them, there will definitely be a great turnaround of opinion throughout the world that they are actually against violence and condone it by watching their radicals do it. That's the time when muslims will gain their long awaited dignity that they have been waiting for but doesn't really come easy to them because people have to understand that human dignity comes from respect and cannot be gained out of fear.
