Yes it is possible the but like the other guy said the odds are just under 14,000,000 - 1 when u buy a ticket from a shop. These odds can be improved though. Here is a link to where you can increase your chances of winning by 702% and it also increases your chances in euromillions by an even bigger margin

Yes, but extremely unlikely. The odds are calculated as follows -
(49 x 48 x 47 x 46 x 45 x 44) divided by (6 x 5x 4x 3x 2x 1) = .
10068347520. divided by 720. = .
13,983,816, To 1 against winning .
This assumes one selection made for the lottery draw. In theory, and on average, you would win at least once every 268,920 years, assuming one ticket and one draw per week.

It's a lot easier than you think. The lottery odds are only 14 million to 1. We have all beaten higher odds than that. If you consider, on average, a male emits 20-200 million sperm per ejaculation, the odds are good that at least one sperm will be mobile enough to complete the fertilization task. The outcome was you, so you're a major winner in life already!

people have won. a woman in NY won twice! i don't bother to play, i used to but i kept getting 3 numbers and winning back my $1, which I bought another ticket with, and this went on for almost a month. then i lost $5 in a row and quit. they want you to keep trying that is how they make money and even have a jackpot to give out.

Yes - but the chances are very very small. Obviously the more tickets you buy the better the odds become, but you would have to buy a hell of a lot of tickets to even have a 'decent' chance of winning.

Yes, although according to the stats you're more likely to have a very unlikely event happen to you, like a meteorite fall on your head.
Number of lotto winners so far - plenty;
Number of people who've had a meteorite fall on their head - none!
What do statisticians know anyway?!

Yes, you can but the odds of being hit by lightning or any other bizare accident are better then winning a jackpot.

Yes, but your odds of winning are so low that I can tell you in good conscience that you will never, ever win.
You've got better odds of being struck by lightning while being attacked by a shark and a swarm of killer bees simultaneously.

It takes pure luck but you've got to be in it to win it....
They say if you have 5 lines every week for the rest of your life, there is more chance of being struck by lightning.

It is possible, as we see people winning it. It can happen because so many people try.
But, to be the one that won is highly improbable - it's because of the enormous amount of combinations, of which only one is the winning one.
