River Cafe is one of the most romantic mood and beautiful view restaurant to dine at. Did you know that is the top 1 choice for proposals? Very good vibe! The menu is quite nice...I would recommend their daily specials...they are always well prepared. Most of their fish or chicken dishes are very yummy....besides always leave room for dessert.

River cafe is great. It has everything, food, mood, wine, and chocolate for desert. Ever time I have been there I have had a great meal the specials are good and they have a wine pairing with the food that is very nice too! make sure yo save room for desert because the chef is excellent. Enjoy!!!

The restaurant itself tells you everything. It's one of the best places in NY. Although I don't like there it is one of my favorite places. I have been to many nice restaurants due to my business requires to entertain our buyer to the best restaurants in the US. River Cafe is one the top 5's. The food itself is well created but not NO.1. River Cafe is about the atmosphere not the food. I hope you enjoy!

We were vacationing and ate there last summer. The view is incredible and the restaurant is beautiful. We ate a huge variety of dishes and everyone was extremely pleased. I ordered duck, which I normally wouldn't order, but wanted to try it. It was a photographic presentation beyond belief and delicious. My dessert was the Brooklyn Bridge. Someone in your group MUST order it, which was what we were told. I agree but won't say any more.
Just watch what you order. There are upcharges for many of the selections. The starting price is somewhere around $85/person for a dinner that includes appetizer and dessert.
Enjoy yourself. It's worth it! :o)

Extremely delicious!!!!!! I loved it! My ex proposed there..unfortunately I had to say no..(which I kinda regret today, since he became rich..LOL)
