I want to start talking to my ex again! But he won't talk to me, so how can i go about talking to him without lookin like I need him. I really want to be friends but I don't know how to do that. So what should I do. I can't just go up and start talkin to him, we have beef but I don't know what about. (we always have beef). I see him everyday and I am about to see him in a while so what should I do? PLEASE!!! I need him to do something and I need to be friends with him to do it! So what should I do?

Take it slow and start out with hellos etc. It might take a while for him to loosen up depending what the beef is. But eventually if your persistent in the hellos and such then he will finally give up and say something in return. If not I would let it go

Some guys can't be bothered being friends with an ex. I'm the same way. If I break up with a girl, I can't say that I ever want to see her again. It brings back to many bad vibes. It all depends on how you guys broke up really.
Based on that last line, it doesn't seem like you want to be friends for the right reason anyway...

Doesn't sound like he wants to talk to you...you can't make someone do that. I'm assuming by ex you mean just an ex boyfriend...
If you need him to talk to you again simply because you need him to do something for you...that's not really that nice...or I am sure I could be wrong but that's what your question sounded like.
You said you need him to be friends with you- so he can do something for you...that's not very nice at all.
Just let him alone..and move on.

You cannot "make" someone talk to you or be your friend, no matter how much you want it. All relationships are a two-way street: BOTH people have to participate.
I would say, leave him alone & stop obsessing about it.

Besides you need him to do something for you so you wanna be friends? Grow up!

Stop trying to impress him directly.
Build social proof in your office as the coolest, most attractive female there. He will gravitate to you.
