Don't listen to everyone else. they're wrong.
Time has a habit of creating responsibility. before you might have had more time to pay attention to them and check them often. Now with laundry, potentially children, and other responsibilities you may not be able to keep such a close eye on them.
also, I know my cook pans wear out over time. they burn and cool and loose that non stick stuff. I bought airbake pans for cookies alone, and then another set for all my other garbage like pizzas and pork chop searing.
try this.
1. set the time for 5 minutes early.
2. turn cookies midway between start and finish
3. buy new pans
4. buy pre made from the deli, they're awesome.

Something is different are you sure that you are not distracted?
Are you using a different oven? They are all a little different.
I will suggest that you make a batch and only bake one cookie in the middle of the sheet and watch it closely after the 5 min mark or half way through suggested bake time. That way you only waste one cookie. Then adjust the oven up or down to make them ready in about suggested bake time. Good luck.

your oven might need adjusting. are u cooking on a different oven? there are many different factors that are important here. I would adjust .. turn down the oven. cook them for less time. make sure they are in the middle row in center. also ur cookie sheet may have worn off the non stick or just be too old.

Maybe you're preoccupied with other things.
If the ovens' temperature is messed up this could also happen.
Get a meat thermometer that is safe to go in the oven. Set oven to 350, put thermometer in oven, wait 5 minutes. The thermometer should match the oven temp. If it doesn't you need to get it fixed (or change your baking time to suit the oven.)

WELL COULD BE SEVERAL REASONS YOUR OVEN IS NOT SET RIGHT COULD BE AN INTERNAL THING IF YOU SET IT TO 350 MAYBE IT IS BROKE AND COOKS AT 375 OR YOU AREN'T PAYING ATTENTION AND FORGET OR YOU JUST HAVE NO JOY IN COOKING ANYMORE IT HAPPENS WITH ME IF I AM BAKING COOKIES I HAVE TO BE RIGHT ON TOP OF THE OVEN CAUSE I WILL BURN THEM

check your oven temp. some ovens vary in temp. if the cookies are burning try lowering the temt maybe 5-10 degrees also they have on the market a insulated cookie sheet try that. or maybe you are not paying attendtion get yourself a cheap timer.

It could very well be a number of things, such as:
Are you cooking at a high temperature?
Are you cooking your foods too fast?
Are you busy while cooking (tv, talking on phone etc.) and forget that you're cooking?
Is your mind on what you're doing?
Do you have the proper cookware?
