Do you and your partner have the same liking of the same pet?
Or did you have to vote, what pet to have?

Myself, my husband, my son, and my daughter all have cats and kittens.
We have 2 cats, "Whoopi" who is a female, black and white, age 16 years, she has breast cancer.
"Tiger" who is a male, grey and white tabby, age 13 years.
Then the 4 kittens, "Summer" and "Autumn" who are both sisters, both girls, "Summer" is grey, ginger tabby very rare, and "Autumn" is tortoise shell, ginger, dark and light grey and they are 15 weeks and 1 day old. I felt sorry for them as they were living in very poor condtions.
"Lucy Lu" who is a girl, black and white, age 15 weeks and 3 days old.
Then their is poor little "Gismo" who is a boy, grey and lots of white tabby, age 12 weeks and 4 days old. I also rescued him from his owner. He has a usler on his eye at this moment! he might even lose his eye as of yet, we are in close contact with the vet at this moment. There are some cruel people about.

Thanks to every one who answered me in a nice way. There had to be one person that had to answer in a bad way!

I surpose they hate animals. They don't have any love to give any animal.

I am sorry to say but because there are so many good answers I have to put in to a vote. Sorry!

A Message for Annie M.
I am not bored, the fact is I love all animals, and pet and I liked to know what kind of animals or pets other people have. O.K?

So why couldn't you just say yes or no if you had pets. Or not answer at all to my question. In fact you are the bored one.

Corn snake named Boo - good animal, several leopard geckos named Freckles, Lucky, Darth, Padme, Mickey, oh just because they are fun and fascinating too. Two turtles, Tulip and Suki, because they're puppies in a shell. Two chickens, Dottie and Pepper, because they help with biological control of bugs in teh garden, fertilize it, and give me yummi brown eggs, two cats, Angel and Nala, because they are fun and soft to cuddle with. One cockatiel named Nube, because his melodious voice raises my soul, one betta fish with no name, just the tank looks good there, and a German Shepherd named Cocoa, because she guards the house and thinks I am the best human alive.

My husband and I met through an on-line personal, in which I made clear it was love me, love my cat. He had never had pets before, as his mother is afraid of small animals. He now has a cat of his own. I think I chose the man I married because my cat climbed in his lap on our first 'at home' date! The Captain is a great connoisseur of people. He bites a friend of mine every time she sees him (she scratches his butt too hard). My cat (Captain Worf) is a rescue from the humane society, but my husband's was a personal rescue: she was under the grocery carts at Albertsons and one of the cashiers called and told us it was there and was being abused by others in the store, we got a live trap from the humane society and went for her. She was so tiny she didn't even trip the trap. Not a problem any more, however. Princess Black now weighs 12 pounds! Our third cat, Baby, came from a cat people threw into my yard, and she promptly had kittens. And quit feeding them almost immediately. Poor thing didn't know she was supposed to, I guess. We got all 3, found homes for the other two, and Baby rules our roost.

Your cats sound beautiful, and good luck with the poor little guy!

I have 1 dog, she is 6 months old and called Cleo, and 2 cats called Molly and Kai. Molly is grey with ginger flecks and Kai is a tabby. I also have 2 giant african land snails, which were named Stuart and God by my children (don't ask why my daughter named one God). I have a lizard who is a leopard gecko. his name is Cuthbert and i have had him 10 years. I have a garter snake named Spot too.

My husband has a cat called Blue. He also has four tarantulas named Fider, Rouge, Babs and Zed.

Both Blue and Molly have recently had 2 kittens each named Pablo, Austin, Marley and Tasha, but they will be going to friends when they are old enough.

My 3 kids dont actually have there own individual pets, they just help us look after ours. I hate my husbands spiders but he hates my dog so that makes us equal lol.

Our snake and 2 of the spiders, Rouge and Babs, were all rescued from people who were neglacting them. They are all happy and healthy now, and shedding often, which they never did before from lack of care. And Kai was kept from Blue's first litter.

A true animal lover. Thank you for saving all those animals. I would have done the same thing. Some people think we are crazy because our house is a zoo but I say they are missing out on the unconditional love animals can give you. Keep up the Good Worx!.

Oh I forgot to answer the question: my 2 dogs; a 7 lb Chihuahua, TAZ & a 110lb Yellow lab, CHAMP. They are the best of friends but the chihuahua is the BOSS!

My husband and I both love cats and dogs....and rodents, and lizards, and birds, lol. I was lucky to find a great guy who is also an animal lover:)

We had a guinea pig for a time, but gave him to my parents before we moved a couple of months ago. At his age, I didn't want to move him very far....and he's better off being able to socialize with my mom's female gp (don't worry, they're separated by a divider, lol).

We have two cats, Blaze and Lotus. Blaze is a 13lb. orange and white tiger, and Lotus is a dilute calico. They're both about 3 years old. We've only had Lotus for just under a month, but we've had Blaze since June of last year. I want a dog, but my husband is insistant that we wait until we have a house:) He wants a Quaker Parrot and a Bearded Dragon, though....sheesh.

We're aquarium hobbyists, as well. We had a 30gl. before we moved, but we're trading with my mom for her 45gl.

My domestic pet is a cat. When I met my husband he didn't like cats but then one day we had a cat visit us and he started to understand cats a bit more. Now he can pet the cat, pick her up, cuddle her etc. He also now wants a kitten but I am not so sure about this. Still I am glad that we have agreed on my love of cats. My mother was a cat lover so have been with cats all my life and am glad I have opened someone elses eyes to their value. I also have a half wild cat called Kitkat.

I have Ra a year and a half old cat who has emotional issues. My friend's cat had kittens and it was either we adopt him or he went to the adoption center and potentially get put down.

I would love a dog, but where I live there is not many places who will rent to anyone who owns dogs, so that is not an option. Im both a cat and dog lover, since I grew up with both.

I have a hamster called Azaz at the moment as I live in a tiny studio flat. In the past I have had horses and cats, but I lived with my ex in the country then. I'm looking forward to moving out of London and back to the Midlands, then I will have horses and cats again. I have been lucky in that my partners have both liked all animals.

I have two Burmese cats, Ruby is a red girl, she is the colour of apricots and cream and so sweet, a really girly cat. Jemima is her sister and is a chocolate tortoise-shell, she is the bully of the two but so affectionate.

My other half prefers dogs to cats, but in London it is hard to keep a dog in an apartment with no garden access, it just would not be fair to the dog and as we cannot move to a larger property with a garden for now then we cannot get a dog. He loves the Burmese breed as his sister has two Burmese and he knew their nature is really loving.

A cat. Because she wandered in and adopted me about three years ago when I was really sad because of a bereavement. She was owned by some people who lived not far away . They moved and left her. So I take care of her now. I didn't give her a name because I thought she would go away again but she stayed and answers to Lady or there's a good girl.

We have 2 Robovroski dwarf hamsters. These are our (my boyfriend and I) our first pets together. They are simply adorable and so funny and cute to watch.

We have hamsters because we live in a small flat and we leave early and come back late, so having a dog or a cat would be difficult at the moment... But one day...

And their little names are: Gimly (the dwarf character in the lords of the ring) and Orik (a dwarf character in the book Eragon)... But until now, they have note answered to their names :-)
