I met this fantastic girl in a club, and I ended up kissing her on the dancefloor and getting rather freindly, I'm meeting her for dinner tonight.
(To be honest I can think of plenty of things, but incase it goes the wrong way, or I DO ACTUALLY run out of ideas, what do you recon could be usefull... or extremely funny!!!!)
???

Ok, to make answers more acurate.. She already thinks I'm funny, so if serious conversation isnn't working, I'll move over to that whilst I wait for inspiration!
Some good comments so far... especially the anal sex one, I'm sure thats worked for you mate!
Other than that there is always alcohol.... alright, better call to check times etc...

talk to her like she is just one of your mates! Let's face it, if it goes any further, you will be best mates anyway.

Women love to talk about themselves - endlessly. Just ask the right questions and look interested in what she's got to say. Chances are you will get bored pretty quickly in which case you should take her dancing and start the kissing all over again. Alternatively identify her insecurity - you will be able to work it out in about six seconds. Some examples might be her big ***, big nose, flat chest, squeaky voice, lack of intelligence, or bad hair day. Anyway - identify it and then praise it - you may have to lie like hell but its sure to work. Good luck. Let us know how you got on.

Be careful of "extremely funny" unless you're really sure about her sense of humour! You don't want to seem like you're trying too hard.
Think of some amusing tales from your past maybe? Childhood? Ones not involving ex-partners lol
Awkward silences are the worst so have back up subjects in your head...
Last album/download? Ever met anyone famous? Last holiday? Place she'd like to visit? Favourite club? Does she read?
Good luck!

Just talk to her about any thing, but do not talk to her about your past relationships or ask her about hers.
What sort of a meal are you taking her out to? perhaps you can talk about the food, or what was on the television last night?
And don't for get to tell her how beautiful she looks, as all woman love that. "That dress that you are wearing really looks nice on you" Or the colour really brings out your gorgeous (eyes) or hair).
O.K? and Good luck!
I think it is great that you have asked for some tips!
Forget the other idiots that say dump her and stand her up.
It is what you want to do.

anything but your ex's and what went wrong in your past relationships.
That is a deal breaker from the start. I had this happen on several dates where the man told me what his ex wife(s) did to him and why they got divorced. It left me thinking HE was the total problem and he was still harboring feelings that should have been dealt with a long time ago. Needless to say he did not get another date with me.

Don't forget to ask her plenty of questions about her and what she likes to do. Don't sit there and brag about yourself the whole time, thats a big turn-off for some chicks! Good Luck!

Just be natural, dont start telling jokes and laughing at them for gods sake. Talk about what she likes to do, where she has been on holiday that kinda thing, just let the chat flow, dont try to hard or it will put her off.

My tip (and I'm an old hand) is don't talk about yourself all night (like I always do). Ask some questions and show some interest in her life (which I always forget to do).
Good luck.

First dates are easy.. by the time you have done the whole whole work, friends, where do you go, what do you do for fun, what TV do watch, what music do you like, what films have you seen, blah, blah.. then its home time..
Now second dates - They are the toughies!

stand her up and forget about her its easier to end it now rather than 10 years down the line with a messy divorce and kids.

Believe me!! If she'll be romantic in her talks, jus start talking 'bout tru luv! Or if she is rather off to this point, then jus ask her to be gud pals........and then slowly convert ur friendship into love!!
