I feel insulted and violated but I don't have to run mad and kill them because of that. I know what is truth and I don't have to defend truth because truth always defends itself no matter how people twist it.

Come on, are you only on here to stir up trouble? The old testament is history, wisdom and prophetic, its a good back ground for Christianity, but we are under a new covenant since Jesus came and paid the blood sacrifice for our sins. We now obey the new testament , since Jesus fulfilled the law.

Sure, some things in the old testament will stand forever, that's a given to any Christian.
