The nice thing about these cars is some of the same mods done on Mustangs will work for these cars as well. If you want better off the line acceleration, you can switch to a NUMERICALLY higher rear gear ratio, for starters (just make sure you change the proper VSS gear as well, to maintain correct speedometer reading). I'm pretty sure the accessory drive pulleys are similar as well. I was going to mention switching to the dual exhaist setup, but it sounds like you've done that already. What you want to achieve is dependent upon how much money you have, or are willing to spend. Good luck.

don't know how much actual power you'd get on a police car recal even if you did it... most of it is mustang intake and freer exhaust...

but as people said, most mustang and f-150 mods can be done here... some run superchargers belt driven and pump them in that way (best part is the engine bay is a lot more open for the mods)

but depending upon the power you want.. (take off the line or top end) .. you are definitely gonna want to get a new gear ratio for the rear....

If you know somebody at a FORD dealer you get them to reprogram the PCM to a police car and that should give you alittle more power along with the same mods you do on a mustang 4.6

A K&N air filter will help a little, or for 5 times the money, a cold-air intake will be noticable. Maybe try some Autolite double platinum plugs, or even go for the iridium plugs. Throw in some MSD wires, and enything els MSD you can afford.

A 50hp shot of nitros would do the trick
