Let us just call them people---that is what they are. I do not know about you, but I am tired of hearing people refereed to by race, size, nationality, ethnic group, religious affiliation and every other conceivable label other than their name, or that man or that lady or that girl or that boy when the person's name is unknown. Pigeon holing people according to category is rude and disrespectful. Learn a person's name, if you can, and call them by it. You will gain their respect.

I watched a show a long time ago that was all about midgets - this family had their entire house specially remodeled, since the parents and children were all small. It was really neat. The kitchen counters were all really low, the bathrooms had been redone, the whole house was scaled to smaller people. They were members of a local dwarf group and they held all the meetings at their house, since their house was the most convenient for everyone, as everything was scaled to their smaller size. They called themselves little people. They said that they did not find it offensive, as that was what they called themselves. It was a really neat show. There are many different types of dwarfism; it explained the most common ones. They showed them having one of their monthly meetings - a whole lot of little people all in one room, with the furniture and everything scaled to size. It was such a great program - I really enjoyed it. They were a very nice family, and it was a very informative show. Wouldn't mind seeing that one again.

lol politically correct terms change way to much,to hell with labels! anytime i see a midget or "little person" i usually just say whats up tiny...

It's hard to say, because both "dwarfs" and "little people" sound degrading. "Dwarfs" make you think of Snow White, and "little people" is, well...belittling!
