now why dont we try to interpret our religions from a post scientific view point?
angels, gods, miracles, devine messages, prophets, supernatural beliefs need to be explained from a post scientific point right?

Not necessarily. There are still many things we do not know. I mean, even the evolutionist still don't know how that first spark started, let alone how DNA could have evolved. It's about the same amount of faith as believing in the miracles of the Bible.

From a "pre-scientific world", the Bible sure does know alot about sanitation and hygine based on much of the laws in the old testament. If something dies in a clay jar, don't use it again (we now know because of germs and how the clay will hold on to them even after washing). There are many other examples.

I see this as God providing advanced knowledge to keep His people safe and healthy, even if they did not know why.

Science and religion are not mutually exclusive. Science is a very useful method for solving problems, but if a being exists completely apart from our known reality, they are not really subject to the scientific rules. Besides, science has already spent a lot of time addressing these issues, and it has come to its own conclusions. And they are as good as the latest concurring evidence, per the scientific method.
