It is best to study math first thing in the morning. The brain is at it's peak functioning ability.
Writing and reading can be done ALL day long and into the night.....

Study, study, study..... morning noon and night. The more you work at it the better you will do.

It's better to study at night. Think about it, in the morning you have to worry about a whole day of events, getting to work on time, eating, house work, errands. At the end of the night all that crap's done and out of the way.

it depends on your body block and physiologic capacity. most people seem to be most allert during the daytime. however, there are others whose concentration peaks during night time.

studying in the morning could be advantageous, especially if done before you do all your other routines as your mind is well rested. however, studying at night, before going to sleep, for some is better because night time affords people all the peace and quiet they need in studying, unlike during daytime when all kinds of things which could distruct you are present.

try to see which part of the 24-hour period your mind works best and which part of the 24-hour period your environment supports this allertness/attentiveness/receptiveness state.

I think everyone has different rhythms, but in theory, your brain should be at it's most active mid-morning (es. from 10-12). At that point, your metabolism should be fully in gear, and you haven't had enough stress yet to wear on your ability to reason.

Studying at night can be less effective, because you can easily become distracted by thoughts still percolating from earlier in the day.

It all depends on you. I'm a night person, so I have to study at night. I know that I don't think very well early in the morning so studying at that time would be pointless for me.

Good luck with studying. :)

If you are a morning person then do it in the morning. At night, if you prefer a less hectic and more quiet place, then do your studying there. Choose the time wherein your memory is at its best.
