What are your thoughts on legalizing marijuana? Why can't everyone smoke freely? I mean you never hear about someone doing anything stupid like crashing their car while high on marijuana. The ones that crash are usually the drunks.. so please tell me what's so wrong with it?

I don't think getting high is right but I think God created us with free will. I also think the reason you don't hear about car crashes is because there are more people that drink than smoke because it is legal. Legalizing weed would just increase that number

I agree very much with you and it unbeivable how much trouble a person can get into over pot!! The way I see it is if they legalize it it would put a **** load of people out of work and we cant have all those cops. ATF, lawyers and prison gaurds out of a job!! I always say if a person you don't like walks into a place your at and 5 or 6 of you are hitting the bong, what happens? Usally he'll sit down smoke with you and chances are you all get along great. now chance the scene and its at a bar in that case someone gets his *** kicked. Am I right??? Now I do not agree with meth at all but pots not a problem legalize it and put half the police force out of work!!!!

I agree with dirty, the government can't figure out how to patent or tax a natural substance, so they won't legalize it. What makes it worse is that people are killed by drunk drivers, but you rarely hear of anyone being killed by a driver high on weed. If our government had any brains, they'd see that the native americans used it for years and it had no harm. So for them, they justify arresting those who choose to indulge in smoking, and arresting those who sell, instead of those who are out there selling coke, crack and meth. Those are the ones who need to be put in jail.

They wont legalize it because the government cant tax. The government cant control the drug dealers so if the cant stop the drug dealers they wont legalize it. It would help out the economic values of our country. By legalizing it, the government would stop giving money to the police department the help stop the drug war. Thus more money will go into something else, like education or charity or something.

and every kid in town laughs like idiots and everyone will drive on the wrong side of traffic

I agree. I think legalization is something that should have happened long ago. Alcohol is a lot more damaging to society.
