For those of you who told me I was crazy when I told you what I wanted myself and the bridal party to wear at my wedding in Jamaica (and for anyoen else too!) what do you think about these:

Weddding dress

Maid of H onor/Flower girl (both will be made-flower girls will be made with a sweetheart neckline and spghatti straps rather than the halter). Maid of Honor in burnt orange, flower girl in champagne

Guys will wear black pants (or do you think it should be khaki??), a white shirt, and a tie to match the dresses.
And again--no shoes!

Then, at the reception back home, I'll probably have them wear tuxes.

I think the dresses are beautiful and the wedding will be even more beautiful. Khaki's for the guys. Good luck!

My sister-in-law had a beach wedding 2 years ago in Florida. It was so beautiful. We all wore sun dresses and had to take our shoes off and put them in a basket as soon as we got to the beach. The flower girl and brides maids wore matching sun dresses and the men wore khaki pants and Hawaiian shirts.

The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress and the groom dressed in a white linen suit.

It is your day so do it up the way you want it and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

I really like the wedding dress. I'm not crazy about the bridesmaid dresses. The bride can get away with a formal dress on a beach, but the bridesmaids will look out of place in a dress that formal with the guys in shirts and ties.

I do like the idea of the guys in shirts and ties. I would do khaki pants if it's during the day, black pants if it's in the evening.

I dont know about the black pants. Nothing says Beach to me like off white pants and an open necked white shirt.

Burnt Orange is a bit autumn for a beach wedding isnt it? Peach....Melon...Creamsicle....

Shirt and tie without a jacket, seems a bit silly to me.

Beach weddings are great. It also confuses the heck out of the guests, as they dont have a damn idea what to wear.

The wedding dress is beautiful! I don't know about the colors for the moh or flower girls, it sound a little dark for a beach wedding. I think of light and flowing. But it isyour day so go with whatever you want.

both the wedding & maid dresses are beautiful. not sure about the burnt orange for the beach, but it it's what you want, go for it. i'd have the guys wear khaki on the beach, looks more beachy than black pants.

That sounds absoloutley fine to me and what cute ideas and colors you have come up with .Hats off to you for such class and dignity with a beach wedding. i think formal attire at a beach wedding is ridiculous . Who would want to clean a bridal gown after it has been in the sand ? Great ideas you have ,have you ever considered becoming a wedding planner sounds like you would be good at it. Good Luck .
