Yeh i just answered your other question!
I think you will probably get an awful lot of answers here, but the problem is that most people will be in that section because they want to answer questions about that specific topics, so despite how much you hate automated phone systems, chances are you might actually get better answers if you asked it in the phone or computer section or whatever there is. And actually you can get your question deleted by Yahoo! by using the wrong section, which seems a little drastic, but I can almost understand it.

that's a call to respond to so if i imagine that some thing i understand may be of help then i will answer, I have considered some questions and that i presumed that they are slightly rude there is not any longer some thing i will do, i did not understand till some weeks in the past that the age changed into 13 to go back on the following, my toddlers are adults now on condition that they were youthful i ought to inspect what they were answering. So certain I do imagine there must be an human being section.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't want some of the people from this section answering questions about two soup cans and a long string. But there are other, very intelligent people here and you never know where you will find what you need.
Still, if your car needs an oil change, you don't usually take it to the barber.

I don't really think it makes a damn in the grand scheme of the universe. But from a purely organizational perspective, it's kind of annoying to be discussing religion and then come across a question about automated phone systems. Nonetheless, whatever floats your ark.

I also ask questions that don't belong in this section. I do it because the people here seem to be the most opinionated, and that tends to give me some excellent answers.

To me, yes. I am one of the guilty. I would think that an educated person would put a question in the correct category, not just where they feel comfortable. Obviously, I am mistaken.

It's just not relevant to the category. If you really want an answer, you should ask it at a technology category. What does comfort have to do with a question?

I'd say stick to the proper category, that way if someone else has a question similar to yours they know where to search for the answer.
Besides that...folks seem to get all fired up in this section. :)

Yes, I think it does matter. I bet the best advice would come from the people who frequent consumer electronics. Is it really *that* uncomfortable there? I can't see it.
