Magniers cider is different from your typical brit cider. Its sweeter and fruitier and as such is usually served with ice here in Ireland.Thats why they have advertised it as good with ice. As a regular drinker of it I tend to have it with ice in summer and without in the winter.Coming in a pint bottle rather than in a draught pint it means that you can have ice in it and top up your glass at your own rate plus you can also have it in a half pint glass .

I like it, but I've never considered if it is Chav or Suave. I just like the way it tastes, with or without ice. It is different from Strongbow, although I like that also. I find it crisp & refreshing. I can't drink much cider though, as I'm diabetic and it's a bit naughty being sweet and all.

I drink Magners and i'm not a Chavv just the opposite, wouldn't say it was suave either - but what i'd like to know is who came up with idea of putting ice in it???? Cider should be seerved like Beer/Lager in a cold glass - ice just impairs the flavour!!!!!!!!

I think the idea of drinking cider out of a glass crammed with ice is bonkers. You never get a decent gulp and it numbs your top lip in the process. Defo for people who think that Strongbow is too common. I'd class it as Wish you were Suave.
Get on the Bow....and/ or Scrumpy Jack

It's a little bit poncey because people often buy it just because it costs more than cider from the bar tap.
A prime example of how advertising can make people spend more on something that is the same as a cheaper product.

absolutely super chav. Anyone who is influenced by such a shallow marketing scheme for a drink that was for the last 15 years completely unfashionable must qualify as a chav surely.

I think its a nice refreshing drink and you don't have to have ice with it, you do have a choice when you buy the drink. Stella and Carling and Chav drinks.
