I know for a fact that my neighbors are continually ripping off my cd player in my car. They did it for the third time in a year last night. The doors were locked and I have a dog and a motion light. So this car is a POS but I am tired of them stealing my stuff. They are soooo fing brilliant that the last time they stole my checkbook out of my bag and wrote a check for pizza delivery to their OWN HOUSE!! IDIOTS!!
I have reported all of the facts along with the checks written to pizza and other places around town. What has been done, nothing??!!! I don't know what else to do, personally. I have a young child and can't really afford to replace this stereo every 4 months. Any ways of "street justice" or revenge on these meth-head losers? They have a very long rap sheet and I cannot take being screwed anymore!!!
Please don't suggest installing an alarm, moving, killing them, or reporting it to the cops. I have considered or done all of these..they don't work. Any suggestions?

Make them some brownies with Tons of Laxative in them. Just leave them on the portch with a card from Joaney or something stupid if their meth heads they won't care. I mean get the strongest Laxitive there is, I talk to the pharmacist and really get a good opinion.
The next week Go to Home depo and get a Piece of wood and some cardboard and Letters used for mailboxes and address, Huge Letters in a highlighted Color. Make a Signs and put them up around the Neightborhood, Meth attatics at this address, they will steal your stuff and sell it for Meth Beware, Make like 4 or 5 signs and put them all over the neighborhood and top it of with a sign in the Meth attics yard. THe ones around the neighborhood, put those on Light poles and stuff, they wont have a clue.
Then finally a time when you know they are doing meth, Call the Police from a pay phone and disguse your voice like an helpless old lady and say the people at such and such address are doing drugs and you are scared that if you walk past thier place on the way home from the grociery store they will rob you and hurt you, then repeat the address and hang up the phone, don't do it from your cell though ok.
Use your imagination to make thier lives hell, I'd do the cop call two or three times a week. I promise those f-ers will move out so fast it wouldn't be funny. Don't get caught putting those signs up. Do it at a safe time. None of which I've told you to do is Illeagle so don't sweat it. Fight fire with fire sweetheart, don't let them drug addicts push you around.
Spray Paint works good on the signs to, Freedom of Speech baby exercise your right to use it.

These things are really difficult in the US today as the law protects the bad guys so much and the cops hands are tied..
I was going to suggest a camera to catch them on camera, but with what you have tried I don't think that the police will do anything. The last resort is a good fence and a big dog that is loose at night, but this sure creates the problem of taking care of the dog..
Street justice usually backfires and they end up accusing you and you end up in jail. The whole country is in crisis now days and there really is no answer at the moment...
Pray for the USA is the only answer as it is going down the tubes morally and socially... You are not the only one with this same problem..

They appear to be targeting your car--don't store ANYTHING in your car. Every time you have something stolen, report it to the police. Every time your car is broken into, report it to the police. Say NOTHING about who you think it is. If the police start canvasing the area, they will start to get nervous, and maybe even move away. After all, they only moved into the area to steal stuff. Blowing the whistle on them makes you the bad guy; building up a report sheet that could later be pinned on them makes you the aggrieved victim in the eyes of the police. I like H2 Oasis's idea. I was also thinking about finding a reputable narc. Go back to the cops, too & see if you can talk to someone who works in narcotics & tell them you're really scared. Make up something if you have to besides the stealing. Preferably something that really happened that you can exagerate & will make the cops more interested but not incriminate you as the snitch. Meth heads are really dangerous & you have to let the cops know you fear for your safety. Who's gonna believe a bunch of meth heads over you?

Try taking out a restraining order that prevents them from going anywhere near you that way once they do you can have them locked up for breeching the order. I know the police are not doing anything, but speak to someone high up or the local mayor, newspaper anyone that will listen to your story about being a young mum & being victimised like this. if worse try & get the hell out as if the cops are not doing there jobs now they won;t change in a hurry. good luck..

Do you have Video Camra??? if you do put by the window where your car is and let it run and make sure have it slow that way it will not used up all the tape so....when you do then you will know that you have the tape proof that they are doing it and then you can call police right that moment an dthen shwo them the tape and they will say yep that the proof and those loser are gone for good for how long don't know depend what judge do.

Get evidence of them commiting these crimes. Borrow a video camera (if you don't have one) or even an ordinary camera will probably have to do. Find witnesses who will collaborate your story. And then go to the authorities. If the police won't listen to you, bring your neighbors to small claims court and let them pay for all the damage they're caused you. The key is get evidence. Because if you won't get it, it just going to be your word against them.
