I have a Toshiba SD260 DVD Player & how do I unlock it to play multi region DVD's?

This DVD only plays Region 2 DVD. However, I have heard you can unlock this player to be Region Free!

Toshiba SD260E
1. Power on and open tray
2. Enter: 2, 4, 0, 3, 9, 6 and 0
3. Press Enter
4. Press Open/Close
5. Power off
6. Power on
