He lied to me, I fell before I found out the truth, and I can't get over him, my life is at a standstill. my heart can't move on...It's been almost a year....and I can't move on.

sometimes life blows you a hard deal and we have to just move on.. maybe you two just wern't meant to be. you can love someone with all your heart body and soul and you can only love them, you cant make them love you, they either do or they dont.. and sometimes you have to set it free, if they were yours in the first place they will come back, if not move on. it is hard but you have to realise that it would have probably never worked out if he lied to you. I'm sure there is someone out there who will love you for who you are and nobody deserves a liar. Dont give up on love, it is everything in life and without it we are so alone.

Trust me, I have no clue, I am in love with a guy that I liked at least 5 years before we dated and now about 16 years after we broke up. I don't sit around always thinking of him, but dam he comes into my dreams.

Honestly? You'll never "get over" him, but what you will do is get on with your life. I lost my fiance', the love of my life, to a drunk driver in 1982. I didn't think I'd ever get over it. Then, one day, I didn't think quite so much about it. Much later, I thought about it less. Years later it was something I thought about when I wanted to. We are more resilient than you may think, if given the time.

He isn't the person you are fantasizing he is. He lied to you. You love an image you conjured up, not who he really is. You are grieving what you first thought you had but what isn't real. The reality is that he lied and that makes him a schmuck. Snap out of it.

find someone else, as simple as that. That person obviously didnt feel for you how you felt for him, just move on and LIVE your life, remeber your life is not your exes. You still are alive, they still dont love you, move on
