Ive tried importing the .dbx files files with no luck.

My Email programme asked me yesterday if I wanted to free up some some space by compacting my emails and I thought it was a great Idea so I did so and this was the last thing before I switched off.
So I come back this morning and most if not all my emails are gone.
Will Mr Gates tell me how to get my emails back or some Computer Expert.
What's the use in this Microsft Email Programme when it can work to your great disadvantage like this.

check in c:\\document and settings\*dir with your name\Local settings\Application Data\identities/ *dir with long name\Microsoft\outlook
there you will find your emails. Import from this place.

* = every one has diffrent name on this dir.so you have to check what is the name of yours. Good luck! if you don't succeed will tell u step by step.

You must have done something wrong.
I did compact my emails serveral times and I never lost one.
The compression of mail messages is completely transparent to users, in fact if you look at an old message it wil be decompressed "on the fly" and you do not see any difference.
